This post has been viewed 906 times. I find it hard to believe that NO ONE knows who these punks are.
PLEASE call the Franklin County Sheriffs Dept with any information.

Thank You

I don't know, Rod.

The only person that saw the vehicle was her neighbor & it was from quite a distance.

I'm sure someone knows who the driver is & as I said the front end will have recent damage.

Thanks Chris.

I didn't mention that it did have a Vermont tag.

This is most likely a local as this vehicle has been seen traveling on Tabor Hill Road previous to this incident.

My mother was hit this morning at approximately 10:30AM by a hit & run driver on Tabor Hill Rd.
As she was turning into her driveway a gray pickup truck attempted to pass her on the right, hitting the passenger side of her car.
Thankfully she was not hurt but the driver DID NOT STOP!!!

BOLO for a gray pickup truck with probable front end, driver's side damage. When her car was hit, the vehicle was carrying 2 males.
If you see this vehicle or know who the driver is please contact the Franklin County Sheriff Dept or the Vermont State Police.

Thank You.

I agree with you Mirjo. Unfortunately in this day & age, teachers have no authority. If they touch a student parents come running to defend their kids, lodge a complaint against the teacher, and call their attorney to file a lawsuit.
When I got in trouble at school the last thing I wanted was for my parents to find out. In those days parents sided with the teacher and you were not only in trouble at school but suffered consequences at home as well.
Is it any wonder that our society is full of people who refuse to accept responsibility for their actions?

I had this same problem for several years with robins building nests. A friend at work told me to tie a bunch of bright colored balloons close to the spot they were building nests. They kept building them on top of a spot light on my deck. The color & balloons movement kept them away. It worked for me. Good luck!

After working in healthcare for over 25 years, I can tell you that the current healthcare crisis is very real.
Every day we see more & more patients without health insurance. Why? Because they have lost their jobs. Yes, they are offered Cobra which is a joke. Even when they were employed they couldn't afford the payments. Now that they are unemployed where would that money come from?
Healthcare coverage should not be tied to your employment status or your ability to pay.
Personally, I don't want to be part of a healthcare system where only people with money get healthcare but that is where we are headed.
It has been accepted practice for years that we all pay taxes so that children can get a free education. I've paid property taxes all of my adult life and never had a child in the school system.
We're all entitled to a free education but not healthcare? What is wrong with this picture?

Henry,
Seems like a lot of folks confuse Georgia Market (at the end of 104A) & the ABC store in Georgia Center.
When my mother saw their ad in the Buyers Digest every week she thought it was for the ABC Store.

Also wanted to mention they have some great soups in their deli, a wonderful thing with these subzero temperatures!!!

I agree Fairfax needs their own store but until that happens why not support some of the local stores mentioned in this post?

Another option for folks looking for fresh meat is the Georgia Market. Although it's not in Fairfax it's closer than St Albans or Milton.
Prices on a lot of items is lower than the big chains. (a gallon of Booth Brothers milk this week is $2.89)
