There are three rings: (1) men's gold wedding band, (2) men's gold black onyx ring with a diamond shape in the middle (3) ring with large black stone in the middle and six black stone on either side. It's likely the owner(s) may not even know these rings are missing. PLEASE check your jewelry to see if you are missing any items matching this description. If you would like to see a photo of the items, please email me at angela.baker@vermont.gov. Please share and help us locate the owner of these items!

We are cleaning out and have a TON of books we have collected over the years that are just collecting dust. We would like to find a new home for them where they might get some good use instead of just being dusty collection items. Our inventory includes a pretty wide variety, such as children's book (multiple series including Junie B. Jones), new released in soft cover and hard cover, lots of mysteries, WWII and Vietnam books, etc. I can elaborate more on the titles if anyone is interested in something specific.
If anyone knows where we can donate these to a good home, or if anyone is looking to add to their collection, please let me know and I would be happy to share!
Thank you -

Vermont State Police are looking to positively identify a silver Volkswagen, possibly a Jetta, that has a loud muffler and is missing the VW on the front of the vehicle. The registration provided is GLA708 or some combination close to that. This vehicle is reportedly seen frequently in the village of Fairfax and is possibly connected to an ongoing investigation. If you have any information about this vehicle, the registered owner or the address for the vehicle, please contact Tpr. Angela Baker at the Vermont State Police at (802)878-7111 or by email at Angela.Baker@state.vt.us.
Thank you!!

Yes, we looked into the suspects in the Milton Kinney Drugs incident but neither the male involved or the vehicle matched. I have received a couple of good tips indicating the car is still hanging around. PLEASE - if you see the car - take note of the license plate and pass it along to me.
Thank you!! Det. Tpr. Angela Baker

Vermont State Police are investigating several burglaries that have occurred over the past couple of weeks. We are looking for any information regarding a suspicious vehicle that was reported in the area of Allen Irish Road at the time of one of the burglaries. The vehicle is described as a light steel blue old squarish American 4 door sedan with metal/silver grill and vinyl roof. Witness advised the grill doesn't wrap up on to hood, doesn't make a pronounced "V" shape in the middle, and doesn't have a big gap in the middle (metal across most of grill) and extends to meet up with square headlights. The bumper didn't extend out sharply and it was relatively flush with the grille. The witness described it as closest to a Cutlass or Century but not with that protruding bumper. The male operator sitting in the car was described mid-20’s and was wearing a "watch cap" and a camo jacket with a mustache and full beard. The beard was not really trimmed but was not overly grown either. If anyone has any information regarding this vehicle, the operator or any other suspicious activity in the area, please contact Det. Tpr. Angela Baker at the Vermont State Police at 878-7111 or by email at Angela.Baker@state.vt.us.

I was one of the Troopers who had the honor of being a part of the escort for the Honor Flight. It was truly a privilege to meet and talk with these men. It was our pleasure to be able to provide them with an escort to the New York State line. I hope they enjoyed their trip to Washington, D.C.
