Does anyone know if we can purchase recycle bins from Duffy's individually? I believe they have the larger bins with wheels, which would be extremely helpful in moving the recycling to the bottom of our driveway. The Casella truck that visited our end of the road was not compatible with those types of bins, so we relied on multiple blue box bins.
Thanks!

I am in desperate need of before and after-school care for my 3 boys aged 9, 7, and 6. I am trying to finish my degree (I'm in my final semester of student teaching in St. Albans) and need childcare until December 20th; everyone I have contacted so far does not have room for 3 kids. I am looking for someone to get them on bus (from our house or yours) and then get them off the bus at the end of the school day. Morning care would begin around 7:00; after-school care would generally end around 4:00 (Tuesdays would end closer to 5:00). Please contact me with your interest, experience, and availability ASAP. I am open to a variety of options, including a nanny share, families with other children, or registered providers, as well as the possibility of alternative modes of transport to and from their school. Even suggestions as to other avenues to pursue would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

Anyone missing a yellow lab? A friendly gal appeared in our yard this morning and has been happily playing with our husky. At one point there was a small beagle with her, but the beagle is long gone. After she wandered across the street to the horses we hooked her to a lead for safety as the horses were becoming agitated/excited and we didn't want anyone to get hurt. I checked with our closest neighbors who have labs but all are accounted for. Thanks, Jenn 802-849-9923

This year we will be out of town so I can't attend. However my husband is staying behind so he will be there. In years past childcare was an issue for us. We don't have a babysitter who we use on any occasion, so it is not merely a question of where our priorities lie. If there was childcare available we would definitely use it and appreciate it.. (Perhaps it could be used as an opportunity for babysitters to connect with families for future jobs.) I also agree that large expenditures should be voted on at the polling booth.

There is a substantial amount of dark smoke. I hope all people involved are okay!

Anyone know a good chimney sweep/repair person? Our stack cover blew off during one of the previous wind storms and we have just now found it beneath the melting snow. I guess we should take advantage of the snow cleared roof and get it repaired. The person we used to use is no longer available so I'm not sure who to call.

Yeah, those lines were making me dizzy. In some places they are more than a foot off from the old ones.

Thanks for the info. I received a message on my cell phone just the other day. It was a bit garbled but there was definite mention of calling a number and speaking to someone in the security office. Because I didn't recognize the number and it was an automated message I ignored the call. I'm glad I did.

I may be wrong, but I was under the impression that if Georgia designated Fairfax as the High School of choice, the tuition would be capped at whatever Fairfax chose to charge. In other words, Georgia parents would still have school choice but they would have to make up the tuition difference if they chose a school with a tuition charge that exceeds that of the designated school.

I have a 5 year old boy starting Kindergarten that is interested as well. Is there anything for 3 - 4 year olds? How do I get more information and/or registration forms? Thank You!
