We were not told the prices of the specials as they were read to us. Just did not expect mac and cheese to be that expensive.

We just left Country Pantry very disappointed!!! Myself, my Husband and two boys, went there for dinner. The total of our bill was $77.00 without a tip!!!! The special was mac and cheese and bacon with 2 chicken strips, which cost $17.95!!!!! When I asked about the price of the mac and cheese, I was told because it was homemade and made with Cabot cheese, that is why it was the price on our bill. I informed the owner with prices like that, as local consumers, we would not be visiting AGAIN!! I can make homemade mac and cheese with bacon and chicken strips a lot cheaper than $17.95 per serving.

General Discussion / Re: A few questions about preventing pipes freezing, ice on house« on: January 04, 2014, 04:19:36 PM »
Tom Fontaine Here,
If you have had issues with frozen pipes or the house is older, cracking the the faucet 2nd floor best can help. The cracking noise is your house telling you its freaking cold out, its the exterior contracting. Keeping the ice off your eves is important. If we get alot of snow and an attic that has some heat loss the ice builds up at the eves. The snow acts like insulation and melts on the surface of the roof. The water flows to the eve and freezes on the existing ice. Water builds up and can potentially leak inside the house. These are a few things that can happen but hopefully don't. 4

What kink of farm? Vermont for the past 100 years has been a dairy state. I think in the past 30 years we've opened up alot more to all kinds of farms. I know a few growing up on dairy farm myself. Give me a call and I might be able to help you out. 6

I called the State Police about these men last week. They informed me they are legitimate and they have been in the Franklin County area for a couple of weeks. They have received a few calls about them and checked them out.
