I remember a lot of these names when I drove bus there. They were kindergarteners then. Boy time sure does fly. Congrats to you all!

Why can't everyone involved here just get together and resolve this face to face rather than behind a keyboard. AND only the ones involved. By most of the feedback it looks like the new owners are doing quite well. As it goes with any new business there are going to be a few kinks to be worked out and GOD forbid someone might go away  not happy! Honestly I don't know how anyone could make a go of it having to pay out that much a month to operate. Good Luck! And if the new owners happen to not make it I would suggest that the people that are not happy in this post get together and open the C.P. once again and operate it THEIR way.

That's why in my opinion it would be a good idea to try to get a local in state contractor. Before my time at BFA I worked for a private contractor (Wildcat Busing) that serviced the Hardwick/ Hazen Union area. All of the drivers there were all born and raised in that area and all had children or grandchildren in the schools. I guess my point is that the word contractor doesn't have to sound like a monster. Good luck!

I'm with you on this one Watchman. This went away way to quietly.

When is somebody going to question why so many good people have left their positions at BFA- Fairfax over the last 5 years? So sad, its always the kids that end up suffering in the long run.

I can see the turbines from Rte.7 about a mile south of Shelburne

I'm wondering if each town/city can put a tax on gas. It seems that the stations in Colchester are always at least 10 cents cheaper than in So. Burlington. I travel rte. 7 everyday and the prices stay the same until Middlebury were they are always much cheaper.

I find it odd that none of these businesses would question 2 men using a card with a womans name on it.

This is sad. I pray to God this has a happy ending but who in their right mind would let a 6 yr. old go off by himself under those conditions. I just can't believe it. Praying hard for this child.
