I have an old bureau that needs to have the drawers rebuilt.  It has dovetail construction.  Some of the drawers need a little help, one is just a drawer front and needs to be completely rebuilt.

Yes, you read that correctly, mosquitos in March.  We were almost eaten alive at Cub Scouts last night.

Be carefull at the top of the hill on Meade Rd. (the one on the Rood Mill end).  I never thought I would bottom out on pavement, but it happened yesterday on Brick Church(just after I turned left onto Brick Church from Cherrierville).
Other than that the roads are pretty good this year.

lena6, the number of men doesn't mean anything when you are talking about an ALL VOLUNTEER  fire department.  The majority of these men are out of town during the day at their paying jobs, supporting themselves and their families.

How dare you make this about you.  This is not about you or me.  This is about a patient and their doctor.

Lately, there have been some blowhards in this country trying to force their views on the rest of us.  From wanting to totally outlaw all forms of birth control to trying to repeal same sex marriage in some states whose legislature has passed laws in favor of it.

The Governors in the states of Texas and Virginia have recently signed bills into law that force a doctor to perform a medically unnecessary Ultrasound on a woman seeking an abortion(if it is early in a pregnancy, this could mean sticking a probe up a woman's vagina).  The last I heard, abortion was still legal.

Nancy, I don't get how you think you have the right to tell me what I can and can't do with my body.  Shouldn't that be my right?

Here are a few things to consider before you empty that gun.  How far and where are all of those stray bullets going to go.  How close and where are your neighbor's houses.  Is there a possibility that a fellow family member, in that moment of panic and chaos, could get between you and the person you are attempting to make into swiss cheese.

Oh and by the way, if you do have plans to use a gun to defend yourself, please get yourself trained and practice your aim.  Emptying your gun and hoping for the best really should not be your first plan of action.

So I really haven't thought much past "you talked me into it".  I did take a quick trip to their website.

Mummy, If someone approaches me as I am out walking down the road and starts interrogating me, I am going to tell them to go pound sand as I am whipping out my cell phone to dial 911 because I have no idea what this person's intentions are toward me.

Alright, you talked me into it!  I have heard of this before and toyed with the idea then, but never made the commitment.  I think I will stick close to home to start out and venture farther south next year when the weather warms up and we can camp out.
