Everyone was correct; it was a C-130 Hercules.  I have been in the Military for 18 years and just recently had the opportunity to execute a training mission in my home state.  It could not have happened without lots of help from my father; Buck.  He is a retired SMSgt from VTANG. Thanks Dad, Happy Fathers Day!  Vermont provides a unique training environment, in that it offers both mountainous terrain as well as flat lands.  To the folks that were frightened, you can rest assured  our training mission was executed safely and with professionalism.  Without the great training we receive, we would not be the well prepared armed forces our nation expects of us.   Take care Fairfax; I can not  wait to be a resident again when this part of my life is over.   See you soon.  For the kids that saw us above, stay in the books, study hard, and you can do anything you put your mind to!
