TO THE PERSON WHO THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO "BAIT" DEER BY LEAVING PILES OF FRESH CARROTS ON THE SIDE OF RT 104 IN NORTH FAIRFAX, SHAME ON YOU!!

TODAY A DOE JUMPED IN FRONT OF MY HUSBAND'S CAR TOTALING IT. THE DOE WAS STILL NURSING AS EVIDENCED BY THE MILK TRAIL IN THE ROAD, BUT DIED AFTER SEVERAL LONG EXCRUCIATING MINUTES. NOW THERE IS A FAWN SOMEWHERE HIDDEN THAT WILL SUFFER FROM MALNUTRITION AND EXPOSURE.

BRAVO, MORON!!!

Agreed, we try to be responsible and usually stop putting out bird food by October, so we were surprised to see a bear
this early. Hopefully others will put away bird food, etc. to discourage this bear, I'd hate for anything drastic happen to it.

He/She is making the rounds. Up the hill from Skip, bear took down 2 of our feeders 9/19 so we
emptied our other ones. That wasn't good enough as bear came back both Fri and Sat looking
for more. I'd say we have a nuisance bear in Fairfax!

The cat is gray with yellow eyes, male, and appears to be about 2 years old. He was wandering around the Falls access road on the River Road side. He is very friendly and smart, and seems to have been well taken care of, which is why I am hoping he will be re-united with his family.
