The money to pay for this will come out of the small profit that the prisoners make. They usually buy new tools with this money, good lesson. When in prison you wouldn't think you would need any more lessons!

Political Issues/Comments / Tom Fontaine runs for Selectboard seat.« on: February 08, 2012, 01:42:34 PM »Hello, I am running for the 3 year seat on the Selectboard and wanted to give those of you who don’t know me a little info about myself. . I grew up on a dairy farm in Williston where my father was very involved in local politics. After The farm I went to VTC and 4 years overseas in the Army. I then moved to Los Angeles to further my college/construction career. After 8 years working the west coast as a construction manager I worked my way east to Chicago. Spending 3 years working the mid-west, it was time to move back to Vermont. I started Fontaine Construction in 1998 as a General Contractor. I have lived in Fairfax for 14 years with my wife Randie, we have two boys Raymond (9) and Bryce (7). I have been involved with the community for some time now as a youth coach, cub scouts, and charity events ect.. It has been a pleasure living here meeting so many great people and forging new relationships. Being involved in the construction industry for over 25 years has taken me in front of a lot of town boards. I have also sat on a design board in Williston during the late 90’s. I believe my experience would contribute something to the Town and Selectboard. Thank You To all of those running, Good Luck!! Sincerely Tom Fontaine 6
