The veteran in yellow shirt and blue pants (8th from left) is my brother in law Robert Coon from St. Albans.  He was a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne and participated in the Battle of the Bulge in France during the war.  Thank you to all the servicemen who served during WW Two. 
 Sounds like a wonderful trip for all of them.  Thank you to all who made it possible.

Library Announcements / Lake Monsters game

I received a phone call today (Friday-June 28) from the Lake Monsters saying I can pick up tickets to for Monday's game at the white ticket booth at Centenial Field. It mentioned they were for BFA tickets.  Does anyone know about this?  Thanks

Is there someway you can post this article and picture on Facebook...we think our grandson and some of his friends may have gotten into these recently and it did leave a rash which lasted well over a week. Very itchy also if this is what caused it.  Saw a lot  of these on 104A today!

This happened to my sister in CT.  She stayed sitting on her couch and asked what she should do.  He said punch in these numbers, she said OK.  (  All the time she wasn't even near her computer ). She said to him "OK I just did what you told me to do!"  He said you must have put in the wrong numbers so  try these instead.  She does the same thing NOTHING and this goes on for about 5 min.  She then says to him...DO YOU THINK I AM STUPID...IF ANYTHING WAS WRONG WITH MY COMPUTER I WOULD CALL MY 10 YEAR OLD GRANDSON TO HELP ME FIX IT!!!   She said you wasted my time so I wasted yours!!   To funny

Just read about a good way to prevent your purse from being stolen out of a shopping cart.  HOOK IT TO THE CART WITH THE CHILD SEAT BELT  IN THE CART! HOOK IT THROUGH YOUR PURSE STRAP!
    Sounds like a smart thing to do....I will try it myself.  I usually don't put my purse in the cart but sometimes you do for just a minute and look what can happen!

  Our son, 1st LT. Scott Coon has served in Afghanistan in 2011 as a Medevac Pilot and will be deploying there sometime in early 2013.  Scott is a career soldier presently stationed at FT. Drum NY.   Also would like to mention Steve Deuso who was deployed more than once to Iraq with the VT. National Guard.
   We are proud to support all our veterens past and present.

These were great pictures of a really fun cross country  meet!  Thanks for sharing them.  What a wonderful event for everyone to enjoy... runners and spectators alike!   The BFA XC team and coaches should be very proud to be able to put something like this together.  Even the weather was great!
