This past thursday over 300 students, teachers and parent volunteers braved the chilly and damp weather to green up Fairfax. They managed to clean up most of the town roads but there are still a few places that need to be picked up. This Saturday (tomorrow) a bus will be available at 9:00 to take volunteers from the town to clean up the remaining roads in Fairfax. We will be meeting in front of the Community Library at BFA. We usually are finished by 11:30.

Come join us. Many hands make light work!

Want to make the word a better place? Why not start right here in Fairfax by joining in on the green up effort. The town will be greening up the week of May 3rd. Elementary students from BFA will be going out Thursday May 6th. Several long time volunteers will be greening up during the week. Finally on Saturday May 8th from 9 AM until about noon, a combination of town and school volunteers will meet in front of the community library and will be transported to any locations not greened up.
