The November election is 45 days away but Vermonters can now start casting their ballots.

Early voting for the general election on Nov. 2 begins today. Early ballots can be requested by mail. People can also go to their local town clerk's office to cast their votes.

Vermonters have until Oct. 27 to register to vote in the November election.
