Get Rid Of Your Unused/Outdated Prescription Drugs

Our local Fairfax Pharmacy will take most of your unused/outdated prescription drugs unless they are a controlled substance.  All you need to do is bring them in to him.

For those he does not take, just mash them up and put them in some used kitty litter and send them in the trash to your local landfill.

When Maryann passed away, I got rid of everything she had except for some diabetic test strips and lancets.

If anyone uses an ACCU CHECK blood sugar tester, let me know as I have two unopened unused boxes of these strips and lancets good until September 2011, as well as the machine which is used.

Lots of our diabetics do not test their sugar as often as their doctor would like them to, because of they cost and even after medicaid coverage, it still costs you about $70 for 100.

Found someone on the forum who could use the Test Strips & Lancets that I have that Maryann did not use - She would be so happy to know that some nice person got them and will get some use out of them.  They came and picked them up tonight.
