Well, another busy Friday.  First off, I have a Dr's appointment with Dr. Tarver at 10:30 this morning to discuss my recent MRI.  I do know that I will stick with the shots and after my talking with Lena Meunier, there will definitely be no surgery for me coming up.  The poor woman sure has had a tough time.

I will then be going to St. Albans to pick up my two new pair of glasses.  Sure will be nice to be able to sit down and read the paper again, especially since I understand that many of the newspapers will not allow you to read them on line in the near future without subscribing.  The Rutland Herald and Times Argus will start charging you beginning on October 1st.

I have no intention of stopping my hard copy, home delivery subscriptions anyhow, but I do find it nice to go on line or refer a link here on my forum, which looks like I or others may not be able to do.  I know that people across the country log on to The Burlington Free Press and Messenger daily just to read the obituaries.

Juanita Shedd's funeral is today at 1 p.m. at the United Church, but I will not be able to make it back in time for it.  My sympathy goes out to the family.

My daughter Sharon is coming up this afternoon to attend the wedding of a relative down here at St. Luke's tomorrow, so I am looking forward to seeing her this weekend.

Of course, on Saturday, I have the United Church Chicken Pie Supper at BFA, so definitely won't be missing that.

At my last Doctor's Appointment with Dr. Ramsay, he asked me if I was keeping busy, and I was able to tell him that I certainly was having no problem in doing that.

I notice some really bright red/orange leaves up across the road in J R Young's pasture this morning, so definitely have some leaf peeping trips to go on in the not to distant future.

Have a great weekend.

Henry Raymond
