A northern Vermont girl and woman will represent the state at Miss Teen USA and Miss USA pageants in 2011.
Bridget Martin, 14, of Stowe was named Miss Vermont Teen USA 2011 at the pageant at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel and Conference Center on Sunday. Miss Vermont USA 2011 is Lauren Carter, 21, of Burlington.
Bridget is the daughter of Julie and Paul Martin.
In the Miss Vermont Teen USA pageant, the first runner- up was Rose Trudeau of Colchester; second runnerup was Morgan Pratt of East Montpelier; third runner- up was Maria Vasiliadis of Hardwick; and fourth runner-up was Josie Thibault of BFA Fairfax, Class of 2013.
