Two happenings on This Date in Fairfax History

November 25, 1906
Parsons Store opens.
Jesse Parsons opened a store where Foothills Bakery is now. Jesse's son, Howard, took over later on and the store was a staple in the center of Fairfax Village for many years.

November 25, 1964
St. Luke's Parish Center was dedicated. The Center was home to many St. Luke's and community events for many years. It was also home to 4 BFA classrooms from 1968-1973. The Parish Center eventually became St. Luke's Church in the early 1980's.
