A Reminder - Spring Is Coming

The Fairfax Town Grader just went by a short while ago, widening out the roads. Those banks of heavy wet snow are indeed heavy and a special thanks to whoever was driving the grader for lifting the wing as they passed each driveway.

Brought back some memories years ago when a member of our Town Road Crew went by my driveway and did not do that. I was working nights at the time, so was not aware of it. That night the temperatures dropped and I had a wonderful bank of ice across my driveway that could not be plowed by my local Driveway Plower. I asked the Town Road Crew Guy if he would open up my driveway and he refused. I contacted a member of the selectboard and he had it done for me. Thank God and a special thanks to to the Grader Operator today.
