PAMELA (WOOD) PRIM MILTON - Pamela W. Prim, 57, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011 in Fletcher Allen Health Care with family at her side. She was born in San Diego, Calif. on Jan. 14, 1953, the daughter of Duane and Mildred (Turner) Wood. She attended Champlain Valley Union High School and Champlain College. Pam was family oriented and found much joy in taking care of them. She was a wife and mom, first and foremost. In her spare time, Pam enjoyed hours of video games and loved gardening, knitting, and crocheting. She leave her husband, Bruce W. Prim of Milton; five daughters and spouses, Susan and James More, and Angela and Rex Harris, all of Grand Isle, Misty Prim of Milton, Kerry Prim of Fairfax, and Tanya Prim of Milton; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her parents, Duane and Mildred Wood of Milton; two brothers and their wives, Scott and Debbie Wood of South Carolina, and Kevin and Heidi Wood of Williston; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by one granddaughter, Jaysmn K. Ferguson. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. at ElmwoodMeunier Funeral Chapel, 97 Elmwood Ave., Burlington. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the services. A Spring Remembrance is planned at a time and date to be announced.
