New Art Gallery Opens in St. Albans

St. Albans, Vermont –  Dan Pattullo, artist, photographer, framer and owner of the Village Frame Shoppe,  has expanded to open a spacious and  well needed fine art gallery in St. Albans, Vermont with a strong regional focus.
The space, formerly known as RSVP, located at 72 North Main Street housed the Village Frame Shoppe which was located in the back of the shop. RSVP closed at year’s end in 2010.  By expanding and making good use of the former RSVP retail space, Dan Pattullo brought his vision of a fine art gallery coupled with his framing business into a reality.
The Gallery will showcase exceptional pieces of fine art, superior photography,  and top quality work by local artisans as well.
The intention is to make the Village Frame Shoppe and Gallery the place for art  in Saint Albans.
Future plans  include hosting art shows , art receptions, and different art events throughout the year which will not only include gallery artists but outside artists as well.
Fine artists include the works of,  Harald Aksdal, Corliss Blakely, Henry Trask Reilly, Sean Dye, Joshua Derner, Pat Murphy, Lyna Lou Nordstrom, Karen Day-Vath, Jim Foote, Barbara Hamm, Mary Ann Duffy Godin, Lorraine Manley, Ann Allen, Jon Young, Leeza Mossey and Mary Reed.  Photography by  Melvin Harris, Peter Weyrauch,  Chris Hungerford, and Scott Staples.
Fine artisans works include: woodturnings by Toby Fulwiler, stained glass by  Karen Scheffler,   terra-cotta sculptures by Jerry Geier,   and hand crafted jewelry by Kelly Duprat.
The Village Frame Shoppe & Gallery is also the exclusive dealer for Franklin County for all Fred Swan prints, giclees and original paintings. Puzzles and calendars are also available by this same artist.
The Gallery is open to the public and is located at 72 North Main St. in Saint Albans, across from Jeff’s Restaurant.
Hours are from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
