Anybody need some Mulch Baled Hay - It is free, all you need to do is pick it up. There are about 130 bales. Lots of people use it in gardens - saves a lot of work.

I used it to bank my sister's house. If you give me a call when you are coming up i will go up and show you where it is. She lives a couple of houses above me. My address is 473 Fletcher Road.

I am sure GPDVT won't be taking all 130 bales, so after she takes what she wants, you are welcome to the rest. I bought it down at Claude Rainville's last fall.

Just got a call from GPDVT and he is coming tomorrow around 11 a.m. I will be calling the other person who called me to pick up what they want and will let you know how many are left if any.

Henry, first I need to know if I can use it as a flooring for my chickens coming next month. Could I use it like straw. Can anyone tell this poor city girl? hee hee

Shelly, this baled hay has been outside all winter, so I would say "No" it could not be used like straw. If I had any chickens I cared about, I would not use it for straw as "Chicken S---" would just add to possible diseases for your chickens, but that is my take on it.

How big is a bale Henry? I could use some but dont have a truck or anything similar. I'm wondering If I could fit 1 or 2 in my trunk.
