Mistake on EAS Message
Residents should still call 911 for emergencies

WATERBURY –An Emergency Alert System Message test was broadcast this morning around Vermont.  The text of the message was incorrect in indicating that 911 service is down.  The message was intended to be a standard test.

911 SERVICE IS UP AND RUNNING AND THOSE WITH EMERGENCIES SHOULD CALL 911.

Take Care & God Bless,
