Fairfax - Chris Gebo, 36, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, September 29, 2011.  He was born in Middlebury, VT on September 24, 1975 son of Susan Gebo. Chris was an incredible young man who will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
Chris had many passions in life – he and his mom share a special bond that can never be broken. He loved adventure, fast cars, boating, jet-skiing, motorcycles, and 4-wheeling. He absolutely loved his Dallas Cowboys and followed them religiously. But his biggest passion in his life was for his beautiful wife Melissa and their children, Sandy, Andrew, Anthony, Joe, Chelsea, Brayden, and Destiny

Chris is survived by his wife Melissa (Smith) Gebo of Fairfax; his children, his mom, his Father-in-law Scott Smith of S. Burlington;  His mother-in-law Cindy Debenedetto and her husband Joe of FL;  Aunts and Uncles:  Joe and Janet Cassarino; Arthur & Linda Pixley; Danny and Shirley Gebo;  Donald & Nancy Gebo; and many cousins and friends, including his life long friend Fred Jimmo.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday October 3, 2011 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at A. W. Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday October 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church of Bristol with the Reverend Yvon J. Royer officiating.  Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions in Christopher’s memory may be made to the National Bank of Middlebury, Attn:  Susan Gebo, Trustee for Destiny Gebo, P.O.
