Crews responding to dump truck-car crash in Colchester

Emergency crews are responding to U.S. 2 and Clay Point Road in Colchester, according to scanner reports. A dispatcher has said people are trapped in the car and injuries are reported. According to the scanner an unrestrained passenger hit his or her head off the dashboard. Crews planned to extricate the passengers. Two nurses were among the first to respond, according to the scanner. The accident happened around 10:15 a.m.
