Firemen found a house on Osgood Hill Road completely on fire when they arrived - Some stories said nobody lived there, and I have not heard who did own the house.  There is a short story on the Fox Website about it:

DATE/TIME: November 27, 2011 0301 hours
LOCATION: 936 Osgood Hill Road Westford, VT 05494
OWNER: Bernadette Paquette

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On November 27, 2011 at approximately 0301 hours a call was made to the Westford and Essex Fire Departments of a reported house fire. Upon arrival the Fire Department located the house fully involved in flames.
There was no one home at the time of the fire.

The Essex Fire Chief called the Vermont Fire Unit for an origin and cause investigation. A Vermont State Police Fire Unit Investigator along with Investigator Baranowski from the Division of Fire Safety responded to the scene on this date to investigate.

At this time the investigation indicates the cause of this fire is not suspicious and undetermined. There were no reported injuries. The house sustained $100,000.00 dollars damage.
