Hello all.  I had the pleasure to visit the Minor Maple operation in Fletcher, VT today.  There are several pictures of the operation and a brief description of including some very surprising statistics about their operation.  Go to the Photo gallary and take a look.  Enjoy!!!

All of the photos of Wallance, Tommy, and Adam Minors sugaring operation have been uploaded to the web.  Please check them out.

Great job Dave -- Sure is a far cry from the old days -- For those of you that might be interested in visiting the sugar house, it is right on the black top road between Cambridge & Fletcher --

Thanks Henry, it is an eye opener to see all of the expense that goes into making such a sophisticated operation.  I have a difficult time complaining about he cost of maple when you consider the equipment and labor that goes into making it.  As much as I am amazed by the new technologies I still really like going to an old sugarhouse that holds decades of history envoloped by the  warm wood fired sugar rig and the smells of maple in the air.
