If my weather channel is correct here in Fairfax, looks like lower humidity and  low chance of rain.  Hopefully the lawn has dried out enough so I can mow the wetter spots before we get more rain.  Steve Ratte was telling me his garden was under water again.  It definitely has not been a good year.  Looking forward to some nice juicy Vermont tomatoes.  Sounds like the strawberry crop was kind of a bust.

I am extremely grateful to all who took photos and shared of our July 4 th parade.  Too bad the rain came as there was a good crowd down at the rec park for community day.

Hopefully a dryer rest of July.

Weather channel was wrong.  Mowed for about and the rain came.  I need about a week and no rain to dry the back lawn out and what t was able to mow looks like crap.

I've given up trying to mow certain areas of my yard. Instead, I spend an hour using the weed wacker to cut what should take me 15min on the mower. Gotta do what you gotta do....
