Caused quite the gathering I heard as well and hung around for a long time. People gathered, took pictures and chatted.  The Moose appeared to be people watching, LOL

Only in the country folks :-)

If it were in the city, I suspect people would be calling 911, honking their horns, poor Moose wouldn't have a chance!

That's a great pic...nice photo work!

One was killed in Essex the other day.  Not sure it made the news.  My wife saw it on Sand-hill Rd less than an hour before it was killed by a vehicle on River Rd. Cathy was broken-hearted when she heard the news, as she was ecstatic when she saw it.

There have been more Moose around here lately I have heard.  I am almost always sure to see one when I am up in Jay/Montgomery area. I seem to be lucky that way.
