Hi All,

I got this photo from the lady in Idaho that sent me the McMaster Photos -- I have no idea where this place is, but the album page says, "A Typical New England Home."

I know that this was the ideal set up in the old days with the house attached to a garage/horsebarn and then attached to the barn.  This way the farmer did not have to go out into the elements in the winter.  The only drawback I have heard of is when and if a fire occurred, the whole thing usually burned.
