The mice are contemplating....

A 13 to 16 percent payroll tax to pay for a Single Payer System.

A mandatory increase in minimum wage in VT to something between $12.50 and $15.00 an hour.

Government mandated paid sick leave for employees.

A .25 percent increase in the Rooms and Meals tax.

A 7 cent per $100 of assessed value property tax increase to $1.01 for residential properties and $1.51 for commercial properties. Even though Shummy vowed to "provide Property Tax Relief". (Spoiler Alert: he had his fingers crossed)

And how they can justify that our electric rates are almost 40% higher than the national average and still force this green/renewable energy crap on us and get us to think it is a good deal.

Ed, I think you are right to be worried. We have at the helm an absolutely incompetent America hating dumbass, and his troupe of idiots. Here in Vermont, the majority continue to re-elect a self declared Socialist, who continues to try to convince everyone that income inequality is the biggest issue in our country. Just his way of trying to continue the class warfare agenda, when in actuality it is nothing more than promoting envy. And both of our senators voted to give away the 2nd Amendment to the United Nations. We had the Leader of the Senate stand in the senate today and tell everyone that the Republicans were responsible for the Russians invading Crimea. Are you kidding me? We have spent $52 million dollars since January 1st advertising for Obammycare. If a product doesn't sell itself, why should I have to pay any portion of it being advertised? And a in the vicinity of a billion dollars trying to get it up and running. Hell, here in Vermont, Shummy spent approximately $170 million to get his first step towards Single Payer System going. Obammy has doubled the number of people in poverty, while claiming he just wants to level the playing field for all. I am worried as well. Freakin politically correct bull crap all the time, Common Core Indoctrination in the schools, the government mandating what a company has to give its employees for health care, shrinking the military while growing the entitlement culture. We are told not to judge all muslims because of the actions of a few lunatics, and yet the left wingers have no problem judging all gun owners because of the actions of a few lunatics. The food stamp program (oops, can I call it that or is that not politically correct?) is run by the Dept of Agriculture. They currently provide food stamps to over 47 million people on a continual basis. Meanwhile the Dept of the Interior has a stated policy about not feeding animals in our National Parks, as the animals will become reliant on the handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves. Ironic.

Anyway Ed. You are smart to be worried. That means you are aware of just how bad this is getting. I would have gone to listen to Welch, but my unicorn was sick.

Yeah and to add to it he wanted to give VPT a 2% raise, keep in mind they are under investigation, and with all the tax increases and spending we need to give big bird a raise?  But don't fear the budget brains lowered to it to 1%. I say 0% works . . .

Hey Ed,

I listened to Shumbama on the 27th of this month at a press conference, blowing sunshine up everybody's ... about how well his economic progress is going. How he is creating jobs across the state. I think he is smoking the maryjane he wants to legalize.
