Joyce (Bellows) McCuin, 90 of Fairfax passed away at the St. Albans Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center on Friday evening, April 29, 2016 after a brief illness. Joyce was born May 10, 1925 in Jeffersonville, the daughter of the late Herbert and Elizabeth (Giddings) Bellows. Joyce was a graduate of Bellows Free Academy in Fairfax, Class of 1943.She is survived by two sons and their spouses; Bruce and Barb McCuin of Cambridge and Christopher and Pauline McCuin of Fairfax; four grandchildren, Kate McCuin Clark (Russ), Carrie McCuin Selby, Justin McCuin (Kasey) and Lance McCuin; six great grandchildren, Nate Selby, Matt Selby, Tyler Clark, Ryan Clark, Travis Clark and Nyla McCuin. She is also survived by her sister, Louise Bellows Counos of St. Albans and her brother, Robert Bellows of Virginia along with several nieces and nephews. Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Edmond McCuin in 1993 and two brothers Charles Bellows and Frederick Bellows. Joyce enjoyed her family, friends and was fiercely independent to the end.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
