A fire Saturday night destroyed a mobile home on Vermont 128 in Westford that had been unoccupied for more than one year, said Steve Willard, chief of the town's volunteer fire department.
The mobile home, which was located on Vermont 128 near private roadway Phillips Lane, was a total loss, Willard said.

Westford, Essex Town and Fairfax fire departments responded to the scene to put out the fire. No one was injured, Willard said.
One lane of Vermont 128 was closed for about an hour and a half while crews were on scene.
Willard said he does not consider the fire suspicious, but he is not sure what caused it.
"That mobile home was getting ready to be moved off the property, so they were doing some cleanup," Willard said.
