Hi All,

Was looking at Mike Cain's picture of the day he took yesterday on Hunt Street - Those beautiful big maples up there on Hunt Street are something to behold.

Now I have spent the better part of an hour looking for a picture of all the trees that used to be on Main Street between The Lamoille River Bridge and the center of town.  Now I have thousands of pictures, I just have to know where to look for them and finally I ran into it.  I don't believe I have a later picture than the one below which was taken many years ago, but it does give you an idea what Fairfax Village looked like with all of its grand and glorious trees back then.  Don't know if we lost those trees when they black topped the road or when we had the hurricane in the 1970s.

I'll bet this was a beautiful sight this time of year and maybe just a few leaves had to be raked.
