I am not sure if we have anyone working on ancient roads here in Fairfax or not, although I have heard it mentioned a few times.  Peter Mallett is quoted in yesterday's Messenger about an ancient road called The Ryan Road that apparently was the quickest route from Georgia Center to Fairfax.  I have some old maps, but none of them appear to have road names on them.  If you would like to read the article, the Messenger has it up on their web site at:
