They were talking about the extensive damage done at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Winooski on Channel 3 News tonight and in talking about paying for the damage done, they stated that the families are responsible, however:

"Most standard homeowners insurance policies do cover damage to headstones, so long as the plot belongs to a member of one's immediate family."

I didn't know that.

General definition of immediate family is Father, Mother & Siblings as far as I know - I had thought of calling Nate Muehl - I'll bet he knows the answer, but from what I could see from my house tonight, looks like Nate is doing a little Christmas Decorating while the weather is warm.  In case you haven't heard about all the damage at the cemetery, click on the following link:

Best thing they could do?  Make this kid get a job and ALL the money goes to the repair costs.
