SHAWN E. STURGEON

JERICHO - Shawn E. Sturgeon, 32, died unexpectedly at his home, Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007.

    Shawn was born on Sept. 29, 1975, in Burlington, Vt.

    He was a master plumber and the owner of Sturgeon Plumbing and Heating.

    Above all else, Shawn loved being with his children. He enjoyed all outdoor sports, camping, hiking, fishing, and snowboarding. He will be deeply missed by his friends and relatives.

    Shawn is survived by his wife, Mary Sturgeon of Fairfax, and their children, Logan Michael Sturgeon and Ashlyn Elizabeth Sturgeon; by his father and mother, Larry and Patricia (Sturgeon) Stone of St. Albans; his sister, April Stone and friend, Mark Madden, and nephew, Jonathan Madden, all of Georgia; his uncles and aunts, Robert and Linda Sturgeon of Franklin, Roger “Butch” and Autumn Bursey of Pittsfield, Sam Cross of Georgia; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael and Martha Leech of Fairfax; his brother-in-law, Jack Leech of Fairfax; and by several cousins.

    Shawn was predeceased by his grandparents, Robert and Elizabeth Sturgeon; and his aunt, Sharon Maskell.

    There will be no visiting hours or funeral service at this time. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.

    For those who wish, contributions may be made to the family in care of Mary Sturgeon, 493 Nichols Rd., Fairfax, Vt. 05454. 

    Arrangements were by the Minor Funeral Home in Milton.
