Iris Brown was associated with the A Brown Stores - Apparently we have to wait until tomorrow to find out what happened:

Iris Brown’s father, Abraham Brown, a well-known local businessman and for years a community leader, opened A. Brown Auto and Home Store in Enosburg in 1951. He eventually opened other stores in: St. Albans (1954), Morrisville (1957), Barre (1959), Plattsburgh, N.Y. (1963), and Burlington (1968). In 1983 he sold the business but retained the properties in Enosburg and Burlington.

After Brown sold the auto and home stores, he built the Brownway Residence for the elderly in Enosburg in 1986.

Brown and his wife were married in 1946 and have three other children: Paul, Lewis and David.

There are more details - Apparently he dumped her body over a guard rail near the Shelburne Museum.
