Joyce C. (Sweet) Coolum

Cambridge - Joyce Carlene (Sweet) Coolum, 86 passed away at Newport Health Care in Newport on Friday May 23, 2008. Joyce was born in Cambridge, VT on May 24, 1921 daughter of the late Carl and Lois (Howard) Sweet. She was a graduate of Cambridge High School class of 1939. She enjoyed spending her later years with the many friends she made at the Westford Senior citizens and the XYZ Senior Citizens in Underhill/Jericho.

Joyce is survived by Her two grandchildren; Kevin & Nicole Coolum; Three sisters: Wilma Laramie; Wanda Casavant and Esther Sweet and several nieces and nephews.

She was also predeceased by her husband Henry on September 14, 1974, Her son Greg on April 5, 1989 and her sister Karen.

Visiting hours will be held at A. W. Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel on Monday June 2, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 12:00 noon with the Reverend Peggy Tooker officiating. A committal service with inurnment will be held on Wednesday June 4, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the family lot in Mountain View Cemetery Cambridge, VT. Donations in Joyce’s memory may be made to the VT Lung Association, 30 Farrell St. Burlington, VT 05403. Arrangements are by John D. Workman, A. W.
