Cake Auction

Don't forget tomorrow's Cake Auction/BBQ and Band Concert at the Georgia Plain Baptist Church located at 2573 Plains Road in Georgia. It'll be a lot of fun! At last count we had nearly 80 cakes being prepared to sell, all homemade by the women of the church. The Cake Auction starts at 5pm and I am making my specialty: a nice light, egg white cake from a recipe over 100 years old. Many other cakes are coming too including maple, carrot and chocolate. The barbeque follows the cake auction and is by donation (you donate whatever you think the dinner is worth). The Westford Community Band will begin playing at 6:30pm. I hope to see you there!
