Fairfax Community Park Project Seeks Volunteers
 
Coordination of the Park and Recreation Path Project has had some challenges over the past 15 years, but right now the Park construction completion is gathering momentum.  As the Recreation Steering Committee and volunteer Project Managers work hard to bring it all together, once again we are approaching the community for assistance.  Construction assistance is needed for this summer's construction season.  If you are a retiree with equipment experience, farmer, landscaper, construction worker or contractor willing to donate some time for one of the biggest efforts Fairfax has ever endeavored, the community would be extremely grateful.
 
Please consider volunteering some time to the Fairfax Community Park and Recreation Path Project this year.  There are volunteer opportunities for people without a construction background also, so please contact Myles Cahoon 849-6695 menmy@sover.net or Carol Lizotte 827-9723 cal100@educert.com if you have the gumption and time to volunteer.
