Man Almost Gets Killed On The Job

Marselis Parsons of Channel 3 News cracked a funny this noon when he announced that a man almost got killed on the job.  And the rest of the story is:

It appears the manhunt is over for a burglary suspect who almost got shot.

The thief targeted two homes in North Hero yesterday. He was caught red-handed in the second home by the owner. The homeowner fired several shots at the man but missed. Investigators believe the burglar then stole a truck from a nearby home.

Police have confirmed a suspect in the case is in custody. They have not released a name.

I expect when all is said and done, there will definitely be some pros & cons about the owner shooting at the burglar as he was trying to get away out the window.  I believe you can shoot them if they are threatening you, but a shot in the back??
