FLORENCE GRACE CONNER
ESSEX JUNCTION - Florence (Washburn) Conner, 80, died Monday, June 15, 2009 in Fletcher Allen Health Care following several months of failing health. She was born July 14, 1928 in Colchester, the daughter of the late Carlisle and Jennie (Miller) Washburn. She was a graduate of Essex Junction High School. Florence was employed by several retail shops in Essex Junction for many years. She is survived by her three sons, Michael Conner of Grand Isle, Patrick and Pamela Conner of Colchester, and Jack and Virginia Conner of Fairfax; her four grandchildren, Dana, Shawn, Jake Conner and wife, Kim, and Rebecca LaBarge and husband Brian; four greatgrandchildren, Cassidy, Mckenna, Mason, and Olivia; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother and two sisters. A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. in the chapel of Corbin & Palmer Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Essex Junction, with burial to follow in Colchester Village Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Humane Society of Chittenden County, 142 Kindness Court, So. Burlington, Vt. 05403. Arrangements are in the care of Corbin & Palmer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Essex Junction.
