I hear by the rumor mill that Suzy Kneeland is spending a bit of time here in Vermont.  Now this most likely is not the weather she remembers us having:

+ Hi 74 Lo 61

One slow-moving low pressure system will move off to the east only to be replaced by another slow-moving low pressure system coming in from the west.

The bottom line is that unsettled, showery weather will be with us for most of the upcoming work week.  There will be breaks of sun from time to time, but showers will never be too far away.

+ 5-day Forecast
Mon: Hi 74 F Lo 61 F Mostly cloudy; scattered showers
Tue: Hi 77 F Lo 62 F Mix of sun & clouds; showers, t-storms
Wed: Hi 74 F Lo 61 F Mostly cloudy; showers, t-storms
Thu: Hi 72 F Lo 59 F Mostly cloudy; showers
Fri: Hi 75 F Lo 60 F Mostly cloudy; showers

It may be a while before we hear her say how much she misses Vermont when she gets back.

Meanwhile you can almost see the corn grow, as well as the grass in the lawn.  I mowed mine a week ago today and since I don't like to mow wet grass, looks like it could be another week before it gets mowed again.

By the way, the Suzy I am talking about is a frequent visitor and poster, originally from Fairfax.

It's been two weeks since I mowed mine. I had been doing well.
I may need a hay baler by the time it dries out enough to mow.
Mowing it on a warm windy day would help. Dries the grass quicker.

Oh My God!!!!  Now a "Donut Angel"

I have to say Suzy, I saw the post yesterday and did go out and hunt all over, but couldn't find the donuts.  Then I thought, she wouldn't drive here and leave me donuts, so I didn't want to mention that I had been hunting for donuts on my back porch on the forum.

The thought then crossed my mind that you probably left them at the wrong house and the thought of somebody eating my donuts, well that could be a bit much.

Needless to say, when I read your post a few minutes ago, I dashed out through the living room, out to the back porch, and there they were, as Maryann kept saying, "Whats the matter, Whats the matter."  Its the "Donut Angel," I said.
