The Chandler House is the first house up from the Steeple Market (Now Dusty Trail Realty).  Melba (Chandler) Perry lived across the road from The Steeple Market, where Ron Irish lives and the last of the Chandler descendants to live in Fairfax was Barbara (Perry) Norton.

MORTON BROWN CHANDLER WINDHAM, Maine / FAIRFAX - A graveside service for Morton Chandler, who died April 22 in Portland, Maine, will be held Sunday, July 26 at 11 a.m. in the Fairfax Plains Cememtery. The service will be conducted by his nephew, Rev. Jim Perry. Mr. Chandler was born Dec. 22, 1914 in Fairfield. He was the last surviving child of the 13 children of Arthur and Catherine Brown Chandler. He graduated from BFA Fairfax in 1932 and served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Jennie of Windham, Maine; a sister-in-law, Eleanor Dalton of Stockton, Calif. as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
