Heavy downpours yesterday resulted in about 2 1/2 inches of rain.  I noticed on my way to St. Albans yesterday afternoon late that a number of the private driveways on hills had some good trenches in them.  Haven't heard of any local roads being washed out though.  Saw Special Ed at J & L's this morning and he said he is tempted to take his trailer and lug the stone back up the hill in his driveway.  Would be a great day to mow the lawn if I didn't have standing water on some of it.  That will be a task for later in the week.

We were close behind you Mike at 1.21 inches.

For the month of July I recorded six days of 80 degrees or above.  Three of the six were below 81 and the highest was 85.1.
