The Dance Hall At The Pond

I had mentioned in one of my posts that there used to be a Dance Hall up at Metcalf Pond and it was owned by Old Dean Blake.  You could see it from The Public Beach area.  It stood on a jut out into the lake.  Haven't been up there in a while, so decided I would send a note to Betsy Berardinelli who is mighty familiar with the pond.

Your memory is correct. It was a dance hall for many years. And the building is still there. For a time Sharon Horr's mother owned it with her husband, Jack. I don't know who owns it now."
