Our old stackable top loading washer went up on us a while back, so we now have a front loading washer stackable unit. Some of the things I miss are the ability to soak white clothes or curtains, etc. that you can't do in a front loading washer. I end up using an old cooler or mop pail to do this. Also, my daughter told me a while back that when you get done with the washer, you should leave the front door open or ajar to let the moisture out. Maryann and I have no pets or kids around, so that is not a problem, but don't think it would be a wise idea if you had small kids and pets.
Last but not least, apparently some people have been having a mold problem as indicated by the link sent to me. For those of you that are contemplating buying a new washing machine, you might want to read this before making your final decision.
