According to yesterday's St. Albans Messenger, BFA Fairfax and Fletcher Elementary were the only local schools closed.  As far as snow here in Fairfax, after all the hyp, I don't think I got more than an inch of snow in the latest storm.  Now I'm not complaining, but I would say that maybe those pickup trucks with the snow plows on that were driving up and down the road on Tuesday night all ready for the big storm probably are.  If they are planning on making their truck payments with snow plowing, they will need to find another source for November and December, so far.

Saw some kids in Burlington on television that said they had taken their snow shovels and gone out trying to find work to earn some extra money, but people weren't hiring.  Apparently, some decided because of the economy they would do it themselves or decided not to do it at all.

Also, speaking of snow, in case you had forgotten, two weeks from tonight is Christmas Eve -

Ho!!  Ho!!  Ho!!

...And we're still waiting for Santa to drive up and down Fletcher road on his lawn tractor!

What a great fundraiser idea for a worthy cause.  I would definitely pay money to see Henry in a Santa suit driving his John Deere tractor up and down Fletcher Road!
