Two teenagers face larceny charges today after a daytime purse-snatching Monday in Burlington.
Police say Robert Bigelow, 19, of Burlington, and an unnamed 15-year-old boy allegedly took a purse from a woman on lower College Street near the parking garage at about 2 p.m.
The woman chased the suspects, who were able to flee the area. The victim was not injured.
Witnesses in the area were able to provide descriptions of the two suspects, and investigation subsequently identified the two teens.
I'm wondering what the 15 year old was doing out of school - I'm assuming he is still in school. I think they had caught them on a security video where they appeared to be driving around looking for a mugging prospect. For more on the story, click on the following link:
