Today's Vermont Catholic Tribune Announced the following parish re-alignments when they become necessary due to a shortage of priests.

(The following parish re-alignments will take effect only when/if pastoral care cannot be provided by a priest)

Franklin-Grand Isle Deanery:

-Richford (All Saints)- one of its missions (St. Isidore/Montgomery or Our Lady of Lourdes/East Berkshire) will close.

-St. Albans (St. Mary) and Fairfield (St. Patrick) will be joined.

-East Fairfield (St. Anthony & St George) will close.

-Enosburg (St. John the Baptist) will join with Sheldon (St. Anthony).

-Franklin {St. Mary) will close.

-Georgia (Ascension) will become a mission of St. Albans (Holy Angels) and will be served by two priests.

-Swanton (Nativity) -Highgate (St. Louis) will remain unchanged.

-Fairfax (St. Luke) - Milton (St. Ann) will share a pastor.

-Alburg (St. Amadeus)-Isle la Motte (St. Joseph) will remain unchanged.

-North Hero (St. Benedict Labre) will close and South Hero (St. Rose of Lima) and Grand Isle (St. Joseph) will continue to share a Pastor.
