Tonight's edition of the St. Albans Messenger announced that one of our new Selectboard Members has been appointed to the position of Vice President for Hoyle, Tanner & Associates, Inc. (HTA).

Nice photo of Charlie in his white shirt & tie in the paper, but my file photo shows him as you might see him around town:



Hoyle, Tanner & Associates, Inc. (HTA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Charles H. Swanson, P.E. to the position of Vice President.

Swanson joined HTA's Burlington office in 2001; in his career; he has achieved over 17 years of experience in the structural, bridge, parking garage and highway engineering fields.  He resides in Fairfax with his wife, Nicole, and three children.

Swanson is the Highway/Structures Group (HSG) Team Leader in HTA's Burlington office.

He previously held the position of Associate.  He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University and has taken graduate courses at the University of Massachusetts and the University of Vermont toward a Masters Degree in Engineering.  Swanson holds a Professional Engineering license in the states of Vermont, Massachusetts and New York.

HTA, headquartered in Manchester, N.H. has 117 professional employees with offices in Vermont, Massachusetts, Florida and St. Thomas.  Since 1973, HTA has provided a wide range of civil engineering and planning services to public, private and federal clients, including roads, bridges, water supply, wastewater, airports, buildings and marine facilities.
